??? I would be telling the third party about the problems with the SO, presumably after I had tried to address these problems directly with the SO without success. For example, I did not tell my close friends or family that McDouche had cheated on me and left while I was pregnant until after I had decided to end things because, as predicted, my family and close friends would never have supported me staying in a relationship with him knowing those facts.

Not to defend Jesse James (because, ew, on so many levels), but how do you know he was getting anything from his SO. Maybe Sandra B hates sex, or won't give blowjobs, or liked having sex every day only until her guy moved in with her?

My understanding from interviews with him about it was that he was happy with Sandra but simply could not control his impulses to get strange. McDouche did the same thing and I can assure you that I do not hate sex, will give blowjobs, and like having sex every day. In counseling, McDouche said he was very happy with me...he simply could not control his impulse for strange. That is not okay with me so I moved on. But do not imply that people who have been cheated on are at fault. Some people simply should never be in relationships.

I was just asking how you knew, not implying anything (and certanly nothing about you). While I don't really hesitate to judge people, I don't like to do it in generalities.
