Dude, Trump trails Bernie among the latest poll of registered voters. He’s only beating Pete by 4 points. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaig...-neck-matchups
Maybe you give Bernie the VP slot and Warren the Treasury Secretary post in exchange for them getting behind Joe?
I know it sounds nuts, but the punnet square here keeps requiring some place for Bernie and Liz.

This time four years ago, Trump was polling at 31%. Of course, we all know that Republicans are wired to circle the wagons and support the party, while Democrats are fractious and impossible to unify. Thinking that you can square that circle by picking the right two Democrats (or in Bernie's case, a Democrat and Bernie) is a fool's errand. It's so attractive because it's doomed to fail. One of these Democrats is going to turn out to be good at being other Democrats' second choice, and is going to consolidate support.

"Republicans" (1) don't usually answer the phone and (2) lie about party preference lest we be Doxxed to hell.
That said, I did recently answer the phone, thinking it was an amazon delivery. I told them I wanted to ban all guns, vote for Warren, and abort all children up to 6 years old.
Trump is "under-polling" (not a word, but you get it), by 8-15%
PS - let's grab lunch or drinks soon when you are up North. - K

When I get a call from a pollster, I tell them that I'm a member of the Peter Pinguid Society, so I guess we cancel out, although these days the valence of that reference doesn't quite work.
Emailed you yesterday -- you may have emailed me back -- I've spent my few spare minutes watching Fiona Hill "destroy" (hi, Sebby).

This article is solid except where it tries to force the argument the Ds must present themselves as moderate to win.
