You've been doing so well with the whole "nice" thing so far, and I for one have been quietly rooting you on. Just leave him alone for a while. The last thing we want to see is you getting sucked into Flower's little self-referential vortex of gloom, ok?

He'll snap out of it one day and we'll all have a good laugh, I swear.

Ironweed, my friend, you've long been the little engine pulling the Flower-hating train. And this has never bothered me because I am happy for whatever small glimmer of self worth you are able to eke out of this role. This and your soccer fantasies probably give you just enough of an illusion of a sense of identity to motivate you to drag yourself out of bed in the morning. So you just keep chugging along and don't worry about me. I'll continue to passively participate in your delusional exercise in self-worth actualization - no questions asked.

Peace.

Love.

Flower.

Squicky though he may be, he nailed his performance this week. Queen was the perfect choice--Constantine is in many ways a straight Freddie Mercury. Ethnic, attention whore, intense presence, quirky-yet-somehow-attractive appearance (Freddie's buck teeth, Constantine's chin issues), great pipes (don't think he's quite on Freddie's level in this department, but still). I should have taped the show, because I wouldn't mind seeing him do that song again.

I wasn't shocked to see Bo in the bottom three this week--he's been kind of mailing it in for the last few weeks. Scott Savol once again got a huge gift--he deserved to be eliminated more than anyone except for Anthony. Nadia is lovely, but not vocally up to snuff. She went home earlier than she deserved to, but only by two or three weeks at most.

Anwar needs to keep going in the direction he's heading, of greater feeling in the music. He really does have a great instrument--huge range and flexibility, well-centered pitch--he just needs to connect better with the audience.

 | The only performance I caught was Constantine's and I thought it was a really excelent karaoke performance. I saw the clips and Carrie looked dreadful and Vonz looked irritating.

I cant believe I now have to start calling in every week. PITA. And Bo should be banned from singing Remedy. He cant touch Chris Robinson. He could probalby improve upon the Drive By Truckers though. |

Brown Bunny sounds like a description that Sebby might use. |

Oh, and thanks for explaining your earlier post. I hadn't picked up on that.
