This is not rocket science. I do not like the contrasting collar and cuff shirt either. Wearing nice socks is nothing like that. I beginning to wonder whether all stuff you said about collars, which I slavishly (*sniff*) adhered to, was not just all nonsense. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder whether the vast majority of what you write on this board is just nonsense.

This isn't the Fashionable Board, which is being kept alive by TM's boobs and butts posts (much appreciated). This is the Politics Board, a place where you swore you wouldn't post. I just wish you weren't a liar.

Flashy socks are ok for some but not for me.
Socks on a weekend seems wrong.
I bought a few colored or striped shirts with white collars and cuffs in the 80s. I then found that in my legal specialty, that was considered the private domain of Harvey Miller of Weil. Other insolvency people simply did not do this under penalty of being accused of sucking up to, or emulating Harvey. It simply wasn't done.

I remember sitting at a hotel bar in Detroit with the managing partner of my old firm after some depositions. He complimented my suit and I jokingly said it was an Oxxford, at which time he revealed that his suit actually was.
ETA: apparently Rod Blagojevich spent over $200k on Oxxford suits. His salary as governor was $160k.

You never admit that to a higher up or joke about it as they are may be so naive as to take you seriously. It's always "Filene's basement" or "Century 21."

Do either of those stores still exist?

I'm not a liar. I stated that I would never post here and I never have. This board is a bottomless well of vitriol, an endless geyser of toxic venom spouted by losers. SAD #sad Posting here is and will forever be a pointless exercise in self-indulgent absurdist theater of visceral, non-thinking primal scream anti-therapy. You're the puppet.

This is so right. I'm glad I never post here either.
On the other hand, what's wrong with primal scream anti-therapy?

Re: Mother, mother, mother - there's too many of you crying.
STRANGER THINGS 2
SPOILER
So Max and her family had to leave California "because of what happened." But we never hear anything about that, do we? And the brother seems pretty racially motivated in hating the kid, I mean it was more than just hating the sister's BF? I could see that coming from the dad, but it was never explicit, was it? Weird threads to leave untied, or for season 3?

I'm just waiting for Sebby to tell us again all about how Russia is a big nothing burger with extra (under the patty) cheese.
