That was my favorite too. The donkey one was cute, but none was (were?) as funny as the Staples one. And I hate Staples. The people in there are so fucking unhelpful it's not funny.

Raouauouaoul, if you really want to know about Mormon underwear, PM me (unless everyone really wants to know more).
And you guys know that all the weirdo polygamous fundies in the news lately (Colorado City/Hilldale, Kingstons) aren't members of the Mormon Church, right?

I'd like to know more. But I don't want to know so badly that I'm going to run out and fuck a Mormon man (NTTAWWT if you are into that sort of thing, and you are married within the Mormon church, yadda yadda yadda).
So, tm, please spill.

Do you think in the year 2000 we'll be able to breathe underwater?

you gotta let these guys in already.
MIAMI, Florida (AP) -- A floating vintage car chugging toward the Florida Keys from Cuba was piloted by two of the same men who tried to sail a converted truck to the United States last year, relatives said.

No. They each claim that the main church has been led astray (because it stopped practicing polygamy, because it gave the priesthood to black men, etc.), and that they are the real guardians of Truth.
The underwear are worn by "active" Mormons who have been to the temple for a ceremony called the endowment (this usually happens before going on a mission or before being married in the temple), and act as a reminder of the covenants made in the ceremony. They're not that strange-looking, really (and if you watched Angels in America you've seen them)--for the men it's basically a t-shirt and long-line briefs a la Calvin Klein; for the women a cap-sleeve cami and bike short-ish bottoms (only white). They used to be weirder--in fact, that's another thing the fundies bring up as evidence that the mainstream church has gone astray.

No, they are the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although they are referred to in the media as an offshoot or sect of the Mormon Church. I don't know if that is accurate or not.

Patience. They're up to car-boats already. Personal jet-cars won't be much longer.
