Burger has really thrown down the gauntlet here in the past two days.
He reminds me of the '86 Mets winning the NLCS and WS back to back....
Seems I have my work cut out for me in the next thread arcs....

You seem to think I'm making some argument about what we knew back in the day. On that point, we're going to have to wait a few years for the memoirs to be published and the records to be released and the histories to be written. Suffice it for now to say that I think the best thinking of the government was somewhat more nuanced than the public statements of top administration officials in the run-up to the war.

It could also have been that he was scared by Penske's mad photoshopping skillz. David Kay does know a thing or two. So does David Ricks. You don't know, but only because your efforts to learn something have been limited, apparently, to a single Google search in the course of this conversation.

Saddam Hussein used to rule Iraq with an iron fist wrapped in, um, barbed wire in which he held WMD. But he was so scared by your photoshopping that he gave up the WMD.
Sounds loopy, I know, but Spanky says we don't know what happened to the WMD and anything is possible. I'm pretty sure Saddam used to post here using a sock.
