I predict his admission will help him more than trying to deny it now that it's out. I still think he's a jackass, but applaud (not the right word, but whatever) him for just saying, "Yep, you got me."

Agree. Far better than McGwire's embarrassing approach. I hope he doesn't feel the pressure of a huge new contract this time around . . .

I think the women's swim team sold such shirts as a fund raiser at my college.

Indeed, although I mostly drank belgian ale this weekend.

I assume everyone does or did or still does performancing substances of one kind or another, so my feelings about him have not changed. I am more troubled by the Madonna rumours, she's sort of scrag-haggy looking. he can do better than that, with the understanding that once upon a time i am sure the sex was good with her, but she's like 62 now, right? Time for A-Rod to shelve the Mrs. Robinson fantasy.
On another note, i am glad he lied to katie Couric, she's a hack. Boo to the yah to her gettingjiggywitit saggy arse!

This strikes me as the least of the outrages attributed to him in that article. And given that it is a swim team, I'm not sure it is all that objectionable.

Here's the thing: If ARod struggles the first month, he's fucked. Because the fans will boo his ass in the most expensive seats in baseball. They will boo him viciously and relentlessly. And we all know how well ARod deals with that.
The next question is, are Pujols or Ortiz part of the 104 who got screened?

I thought everybody got screened, and 104 tested positive. I think there are still 102 question marks.

Even if they aren't, shouldn't we presume they were juicing at some point?

That's what I do. I think that A Rod is in probably a better position than his predecessors on this because it's assumed to be so widespread these days.

Probably. You would think the non-juicers would want the full list out. If there are any non-juicers, as opposed to players with better masking agents.

ortiz: batted like 950, then what 215 the year after testing?
Hmmm.
Although I still think Arod's a fucking faggot, I will admit (1) he got some good advice and (2) was smart enough to take it.
