We recently dry cleaned the cushion covers of a Rowe sofa for the same reason (cats, etc.) and it turned out fine.

Hell, I throw mine in the washer and dryer and pull them out a little early from the dry cylce. If they're a little damp when you put them back on the cushion, they'll shrink into place.

Attic stairs insulation
Because this wasn't interesting enough for the FB, I'll repost here:
Have any of you seen a product made to insulate pull down stairs that lead to an attic? Or have you gerryrigged a solution on your own that you'd recommend?

I don't have one, so have not looked to purchase, but everything I have seen is basically a cap for the opening with some weatherstripping to put on the frame of the stairs. Don't know why you couldn't build one, but I also don't know what the price difference would be.
