An incumbent, wartime president got a shade over 50%. That's no mandate.
|
An incumbent, peacetime, popular president, with a [fake] surplus and a huge [fake] economic boom during a [fake] period of peace with the Islamists got less than 50%. The most hated man next to Hitler gets closer to 51%
Care to discuss?

Of course there were three candidates in 1992 and 1996, not two. People have written treatises about those races. Clinton was never threatened by Dole. If Bush wins, he dodged a bullet.

Nader is the difference in New Mexico right now.
Not that it matters. Kerry will take Wisconsin, and Ohio is the whole ballgame.

You looking for the recount in Fallujah?
[PS - why are they ignoring NV and NM)

The news companies that count OH as a Bush win don't count NV because they're not confident enough in their OH prediction to call an overall Bush victory.

I keep looking, but no one can say how many provisional ballots are out there. At least 91,000, but that number doesn't seem to include Cuyahoga County. [ eta: 95,000+ without Cuyahoga County, according to the state.]
NV and NM don't matter. Kerry will win WI. If he wins OH too, he's the next President. Bush can't get to 270 without OH.

So the Dems lose their Senate leader, lose seats in the House and Senate, lose the popular vote for prez, lose the electoral vote for prez. That sounds like an across the board loss for the Dems.
Remaining in denial will do nothing to help rebuild your party. Tonight was as bad as you could have imagined it.

I've tried to post four times this morning and have given up each time about half way. You're right, Hank. It's time to move on.
PM me with any documented cases of fraudulent double/dead votes, please. I doubt I'll be back to this board for a while. Time to take stock. And stock up on emergency provisions.

The American majority has just signed this country's death warrant.
I'm kidding.

I've lost complete faith in the...
...online free market speculators. Less, how could they have been so wrong? You'd think people would do their homework when there's money involved.
