Definitely a letdown that they didn't have more Bob commercials this year. The ones for the Trek contest aren't bad, but OLN could have done some in place of the whole Cyclysm thing.
Not only were last year's ads good, but you might remember one of the previous years, where Bob had action figures of the major GC contenders and picked them off, one by one --- "Allez, Virenque! Allez! Allez! (whack) Venga, Sevilla! Venga! Venga! Venga! (whack) Haup Jan! Haup Jan! Pffft (whacK) and Armstrong wins!"
If Lance did a really bad time trial, how much time could the other guys pick up on a long, flat course? One minute, maybe two? |
