The Entry is your better bet, both from the relative fame level and the likelihood that they'll be sitting at the bar before/after the show.

Thanks for demonstrating your Minneapolis street cred.

I long ago saw Poe (anyone remember her?) at First Ave year ago. Had this article been around then, I may have conducted myself differently.

Insert sad emoticon here.

A hypothetical offer was rejected b/c it was too low (even after some negotiation), and no offer was made by Company C.

Hypothetically, I am hypothetically considering sending a CV to Hank Chinaski & Associates. That's how much I want out.

Were any of them performing in a rock band at the time? That seems to be the key element.

I don't recall if Paigow was in a relationship when I met her in a bar. You will not be surprised to learn that I did not attempt to hook up with her.

I have both of her albums, and occasionally Google to see if she is touring.

In case it wasn't clear, that was "years ago."

My main recollection is that she was really hot. But I enjoyed the show too. I think the Eels opened.

Also, I think her dilemma can be pretty easily explained by the risk of being perceived as a creepy stalker for hitting on a female performer. Obviously plenty of female groupies are creepy stalkers, but danger seems rather greater when the genders are reversed.

This is a ways out, but I am thinking of going to see The Kills at First Ave. I would like to see you put the moves on Alison Mosshart.

I'll be she spends long nights alone wondering why the groupies won't hit on her.
