You pay over MSRP?
You will be even happier when you go two weeks between fillups.

Nope. I did, however, pay exactly the MSRP.
They threw in free window tint, which is nice.

Enjoy! I just had a VW Jetta rental car with the 2.5 engine and 6 speed automatic. It drove nicely, handled better than I expected, and was a solid car. Big trunk, too.

With a slush box. I parked near it at the train parking lot.

I can't help but like the lines on this car. It's my favorite Porsche, design-wise.
About two months ago I saw a Boxster with the license plate "DREAMBG" or something like that. I had to stifle a laugh -- a person driving a $45,000 Porsche perhaps should have dreamed bigger, or should at least have the decency to pass on the inspirational personalized plates. It wasn't even the S.

The Cayman is really nice looking.
I think one can manipulate those letters (using black and white tape) to read DUCHEBG.
I have never driven a Porsche? Phoenix, would I like?

Sure, it's pretty. But an automatic?

I think that you'd love it. I've never driven one, either. [Sniff.] But everything that I've read (and, therefore, it must be true!) says that they are the ultimate driving machines, drive light and handle tremendously well. They seem to have the same reputation as do BMWs in the buff books - always get glowing reviews, even when other cars should beat them on numbers alone.

2. Will the Boxster/Cayman be getting the PDK transmission that just debuted in the new 911? It's supposed to be excellent.

It's supposed to, but currently only has tiptronic. Which is a pile of shit. We drove the Carrera S manual and PDK. It was pretty good. Is faster than the manual by .2 and only scrubs 2 mph off the top end. But we didn't get up to 186 mph anyway on the crappy freeways around San Jose.
That said, my 135 eats that Cayman's lunch. And I can put a suitcase in the trunk.
And Alex, because I know you like 5th Gear -
