With all the baby action around here over the last few months, it strikes me that it's been a while since we discussed pregnancy sex.
So, what's the feeling: Pregnancy sex, good, better, best?

Nor, apparently, into babies. That thing looks like it would be torture to nurse* in.

This post makes me want to throw up. I'm not sure where the boundary to the land of "I'm willing to say any sappy thing to seem really senstivie" lies, but you're not John Kerry border crossing here, you're fucking McCain.

Right-o. I'll be sure to inquire.

Please don't be the kind of parent who worries excessively about safety issues. It's not you.

We're talking pre-school here, and she's upset at being "mocked" by four year olds? Let's send fringie over and show her what mocking is all about.

I don't know how upset she was. I didn't talk to her. OTOH, the head teacher was put out on a few levels, one of which involved my son's pottymouth. I didn't want to tell her that we've been trying to desensitize him to that kind of talk by using the prefix poopy- and the suffix -butt as much as possible around the house.

Is it not LT's fault the same way the big pile ons you guys do to me on PB are never your fault and Sidd who's always to blame? Now that AG has dropped out he tells me its was always you leading the charge and pulling strings.

As nice as it is having you as my very own stalker sock, you're going to have to lay off the anchovy pizza and speed before you post, because I'm still struggling to follow you.

It's somehow my fault I feel things more deeply than others? Four years in a tiger cage can really open you up and bring out some really serious shit.

2.
We've had lots of friends who had a bear of a time gettng their kids to switch from crib to toddler bed, with the process repeating itself when the time came to switch from toddler bed to "real bed". Why go through the aggravation twice?
We're also a "no bassinette" household. Our thinking being we wanted to teach the kids how to sleep throught the night in their crib as soon as possible.
Our girls are about 23 months apart and we found it necessary to buy a second crib. We left the crib in Soupette#1's room as a threat: if she got out of her big-girl bed when we didn't want her to, then she would have to go back to sleeping in the crib. Not that the crib could have contained her, but it still kept her in line.
As luck will have it, the age difference between Soupette#2 and Child#3 will also be 23 months, so we'll repeating the process this fall.
