I heard a very tiny bit of them on the radio yesterday. The meds make me a little slower to react these days.

They are just practicing for the zombie apocalypse which couldn't come fast enough for me.

I love this sock like kin, but do not understand why it reared its humorous head.

No reason other than that was the sock I used on those sites to explain how that music was worse than Satan.

I think "Nature Trail to Hell" is Weird Al's best song.

So you're going to Ireland and you can bring one book to read on the plane. Which book? WHICH BOOK?!?!

(Other than these, that is.)

Sebastian Dangerfield might suggest "The Ginger Man," but I would go with "A Star Called Henry."

Unless Ireland must relate to the book, Ishigura's When We Were Orphans (set in London and then Shanghai). I first read it a long time ago and thought it poor, but I just reread and found it great.

I like the Dublin Murder Squad series by Tana French quite a bit. I think a new one is coming out this fall. The first one is In the Woods. I read them in order, but they're sort of independent of one another. Also, Christine Falls, by Benjamin Black (usually known as John Banville) is also one I liked quite a bit.
