As for GWNC today, who knows for sure, but she is certainly a lot smaller than at least a few of us, which is hard to overcome, in particular outside the boxing ring.

laird is useless. he blew three great scoring chances- the best a bunt-pop up.

These sports posts still don't make me think you weren't a wuss in high school, in case you're wondering. And this is from a guy who used to wear jeans with a jean jacket in high school and was in an improv "comedy" ensemble.

I was a nerd, but I was also a nerd who was a multisport athlete and proably spent more time in the weight room than anyone else. It wasn't a recipe for either cool or tough, but it was enough not to get picked on. Physically anyway.

Sophomore year, I was at a party at some guy's house and one of the jocks wanted to go. I was standing next to a barstool. I picked it up, swung it at his head, and broke his nose and knocked out two teeth.

People didn't tend to pick fights with me after that.
