On that note, the relish plate is one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every meal should have one.
Hear, hear. I have been known to go to the sort of place that calls itself a "supper club" rather than a restaurant for the very reason they always bring out a relish tray. At.Every.Meal.

Please make your answer more detailed than "relish."
Pickles, olives (green and black), radishes, celery sticks, carrot sticks, and, in a really fancy-schmancy house, cippolini in balsamic and cherry peppers.

I was in Appleton, Wisconsin once for a client meeting. I ordered a bloody at the hotel bar and got handed something with tomato juice and beef bullion. It was disgusting. I shudder to think what the clam juice would do to a perfectly innocent cocktail.

Sorry, the telemetry in the CCU/SNF always interferes with the hospital's wi-fi. After a few days in stir, I had a lot of stuff to catch up on. Besides, it's not like anyone else was saying anything worthwhile.

This is similar to what we Eye-talians would call the antipasti, except without the pork products.

Yeah, and the roasted peppers and wine-cured anchovies.

you have to study 5 years to be a Kombucha maker. Some of these socks may be fermenting tea, but I feel safe saying none of them are making Kombucha.
