Refreshing answer to common question

*Joke away. But know that I will chow box.
It's my understanding that they come in soft corn or soft flour tortillas. They always sound good to me because of the cabbage slaw stuff, but I don't like the seafood that is not shrimp. I believe La Salsa (which may not exist where you are) offers other types of tacos (e.g. chicken, shrimp?) with that condiment in lieu of the normal lettuce etc. The shrimp is fried, I think.

Baja Fresh and La Salsa have made me into a big soft corn tortilla fan. LOVE them. For lunch yesterday, I had refried black beans with jalepeno and some cheese, heated up on soft corn tortillas, then salsa dumped over the top. I had to eat it with a fork, but that was OK with me. It was quite good.

Berryhill has shrimp tacos that are remarkably similar to the fish tacos, with one major difference. I don't think they're $1.99 on Monday's and Fridays, though. You'll have to spring for the extra buck.

At Berryhill you can get the fish (or shrimp) either tempura battered and fried or grilled.

ETA to clarify that all tortillas are soft, so the only crunch would be from the tempura batter. I do not see that as a bad thing.

It is my experience that things like this never work out as well as one expects them to.

On the other hand, the Birds won and the 'Boys lost, so who am I to complain. Suck it, TO.

I was seated in a sports bar yesterday next to a table full of obnoxious Cowboys fans (is there any other kind?). I thought I would get a bit of a break from that, having moved across the country to get out of Cowboys territory, but I guess the America's Team thing stuck. Anywho, you should have heard the yelling and taunting going on at that table during the first quarter of the game. TO is the greatest/Cowboys are going to kill everyone they play, etc. I was semi-watching the game on their tv because ours was set to the Packer game (sorry, Mr. Man) and I had Fred Taylor active yesterday. I cannot tell you how happy I was to see Jacksonville shut them the hell up. It was a wonderful three quarters of listening to the assholes say pretty much nothing.

ETA: How about a poll - Most obnoxious pro football fans? I have a split vote between Cowboys fans (when they are winning) and Vikings fans. I have no idea why Vikings fans are so annoying, but I have seen them in action on enough occasions, that I don't just chalk it up to a fluke in the Vegas sportsbook.

Here's hoping he hasn't learned the system in time for the Week 3 game...

Do not watch tapes of the men who came before you.

Without question. Raiders Fans. Or Raidahs as they're called here. Loud, drunk, and loud.

That's only a starting point that describes probably half of NFL fans. The Raiders are in there, but so are Jets, Patriots, and Eagles fans.

I'm sure that there must be some system to learn and that he won't be able to learn it all before September 24. I don't mind if he has it down sometime around September 25 though.

Holmgren is pretty bad on the road, eh? I wonder why that is. A Packer fan reminded me of this yesterday before you guys almost lost to the Lions.

I liked the Raiders fans that were here two years ago. Of course, we won the game, so the experience may have been different.

I wasn't much a fan of the cheeseheads, when they were here. The Vikings fans weren't all that much fun either, but that was a damned good football game.

ETA: The Texans fan who sits behind me one row and four seats to my right is also obnoxious, but in a sort of endearing way. He likes to get disgusted with other Texans fans for their lack of enthusiasm.

I agree. You will never see more zubaz, camo or Carrhart than when you are at an NFL game.

1) Zubaz. As bad as it was to wear this 15 years ago, it's even more inexcusable now. Is it still made? How do those zubaz pants survive for 15 years? Jeez, move on.

2) Camo. Untrue. Go to any SEC game and you will see more camo, at least in bad weather. It looks like everyone is headed out for a duck or deer hunt, except they're singing rocky top, instead of playing a duck call. Vols fans have it good, because the orange blaze hats match the unis almost.

Even the commentators reminded me that we were 9-21 on opening day and like 0% opening day on the road. I don't think Holmgren likes the Central or Eastern time zone. It fucks with this head. And yet, I'm sure that part of him thought - ah yes, Jon Kitna. I remember that train wreck. All I have to do is score a couple of field goals and I'm in.
