I dare say I would possibly pick him over Ted Cruz with his post 9/11 military service.

I read about his service in National Review... and had another orgasm.

Of course Trumpanzees hate him because they don't read National Review and he doesn't have a Wikipedia page, so they don't know who he is.

Oh, that and he and his wife adopted a child from Ethiopia.

Of course he's enlightened on race and eschews all forms of xenophobia -- these being requisite to hiring at National Review.

Agreed. This guy should have gotten the nod: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...b0dacf7ad530e1

You need to seriously rethink the commando thing. Today's Daily Dose goes out to you -- "Itchy Brother" by the Nite Liters. I'll be very impressed if anyone can identify the early 90s hip hop song that samples this tune.

If you deal in #NeverTrump on Twitter, you see the dregs of society, which have exposed the seedy underbelly of what ostensibly used to be "my side". Sometimes I have to acknowledge how much "my side" sucks and how we probably deserve Trump happening to us.

I no longer consider myself a Republican, of course, but I enthusiastically could cast a vote for French with a clean conscience. I know him running would likely cause Hillary to win, but I would sooner that than bow down to a con man who swore I would support him after he pretty much destroyed everything I believed in.

As I suspected. But I never let facts interfere with snark.

It's no one group's significant fault. He's our collective fault. Depending on where you are, you assisted or enabled, at least in some small fashion, the mix of stupidity, bigotry, and economic desperation that allowed Trump to succeed.

I could except for the fact that he's Kristol's candidate. Bill Kristol is a neocon who'd rather elect Hillary than Trump. He doesn't care about libertarian ideals, and he's the furthest thing from a conservative. He's a radical who thinks we should inflict democracy on other around the world at gunpoint. Frankly, he, Wolfowitz, and Cheney should be considered quasi-criminal elements, not unlike Nixon. But far worse.
French is a decent guy, but he's brought to us by one of the most indecent, intellectually bankrupt people on the political scene. As much as I loathed Cruz, I'd elect him emperor before I'd allow a person like Bill Kristol near the levers of executive power.

You can vote for him with a clear conscience. He's going to poll about as well as LaRouche in this cycle. The guys who might fuck things up for Trump are Johnson and Weld. They could cause some issues in a very close race. But then, that's assuming it's a very close race. Once Bernie is out and half or more of his followers switch to Hillary, I think you'll see decidedly different polls. Trump is a day late and many dimes short in terms of organization and funding.

Three word solution: Cream colored pants. (Bonobos, $100.) If you're concerned about David French inspired spontaneous emissions, I cannot recommend a brand more highly. I strut confidently down the hall without a whit of concern. "Hey Mary. Nice lunch? Good for you!" "Hi, Bob. Great glasses. New?" And when the Neocon candidate-caused effluent is dry, the polyester/cotton mix is easily crunched, leaving nothing but a fine off-white dust in the waste basket.

I searched for the magical Bonobos pants. My search was not exhaustive, but I did not find cream colored. I spent some time looking at the Weekday Warriors and was taken by the whimsical color naming tendencies. Monday Blues! Wednesday Tans! Friday Greys! Friday Light Greys! Who's fucking talking about spontaneous male orgasms now! So next time you're strutting down the hall with a nuclear smile and dispensing impotently mischievous generic catch-phrases to fellow workers, I ask you to think of this song, which is today's Daily Dose, again dedicated to you. Billy Ball & The Upsetters: Sissy Walk. 'Cuz that song is the soundtrack to swagger:

I think that's a fair statement. James Brown was doing it first, and his early funk provided a foundation for so many others. And man, the crazy shit that was built on that foundation. Here is the first song on the first Funkadelic album. Album is called Funkadelic. Song is called, "Mommy, What's a Funkadelic." Opening words: "If you will suck my soul, I will lick your funky emotions."

I really think someone needs to sit you down and tell you the story about how no one gives a shit about Moth.
