We produce everything we have. Some douchebag lawyer decides we haven't. Asks all these questions... why aren't there memos, emails, notes, etc. etc. And the honest to god answer is BECAUSE THERE AREN'T.

It's not nefarious. It's just the way it is. People don't write shit down all the time. Only lawyers do that.
Sometimes, it's because there really isn't anything more to produce. But other times the stuff they produce makes it clear there is more. For instance, an email that refers to the "Hudsucker Proxy." It's pretty likely that Hudsucker, if nobody else, still has a copy of that proxy.

Email has certainly made it easier to track exactly what was going on before and when a decision was made. I try to tell clients "next time you should just get up and walk down to his office to talk about this kind of stuff".

Some things are still a mystery to me, while others are much too clear.

Apro ... uh, by the by, don't you just kinda wish that Bernake or Geithner would just answer one of David Boies' questions in the AIG trial with something along the lines of "if you're so smart and such a legal wizard, then why the fuck did George W. Bush become president?"

you have to have grey hair before anyone listens to you; so you, sidd, T and me are doomed to not being listened too.

And if we're subject to open records, we are very, very careful about what goes into memos, emails, notes, etc.

How about this: I'll bet you and/or b&b that I eventually see at least 50000 pages. $500 for board support. I gave Coltrane details. I believe he would advise against you taking it.

This just in!

Internet trolls are narcissists, psychopaths, and sadists. In case there was some doubt.

When they do the double-dutch, that's the dancing.

Thanks, Liz. Now Not Bob is lost for the day.

Nobody likes balls. And for good reason. Balls are proof there is no god.

People say, "Oh, but they're brilliantly designed... By hanging outside the body in flesh sacks, the sperm stays at a cooler temperature, which allows it to survive."

I say if there were a god with a third of a brain, it'd have developed sperm that could live inside the body. Like, say... A woman's eggs? You don't see women walking around with a pair of hairy egg sacks flopping between their thighs.

If they did, we'd have a lot less Fappenings taking place.

To be fair, yes, you didn't forgive the thing that is clearly a crime. But you did forgive the thing that just requires a little bit of restraint to avoid benefiting from the crime.
I agree with you. JLaw is a victim, and the defense "she should expect it" is no better than "she should know better."

I'm still going to view the pictures published. And feel absolutely zero guilt.

It happened, it's titillating, everybody else is looking; so am I. She needs to drop the argument that gawking at the stuff is perpetuating the crime.

Why does she "need" to?

Usually I’m at the vanguard of any movement to use, and to compel others to use, the correct terms for things but there is NO WAY I’m ever calling anything a “female penis.”
