I still don't understand men who only are willing to date 10+ years younger, but I do concede that it is possible to have things in common and stuff to talk about with someone significantly younger.

I know you well enough to know that what you say is sincere, and on an intellectual level, I understand completely what you are saying, but for some reason, each time I read this post, instead of "our conversations were," my mind sees "his cunnilingus was." Anyhoo, well done and all that, and happy birthday to the boy!

I don't really have anything against them. My post was based on thee young women who were my neighbors a couple of years ago when I lived on the North Side. They found me cute for some reason, so whenever they had a party or were bored, they would invite me over. I also got to babysit for a couple of them on a few Saturday nights when they went out clubbing and forgot their keys. It was safer than having them pass out in the hallway with a skirt that was made from a shortened cummerbund.

22 year old girls are much less cute when they are passed out and drooling in your lap.

If only these dudes could have seen you doing leg presses, they would have known not to mess with you.

ncs has never given any hint of racial bias so it is surely possible her new paramour is "of color." I do understand the joke you were going for with the "the boy" reference, but I fear it is potentially offensive. Perhaps you PM'ed her to confirm em is white?

We haven't gotten there yet. Third date is tonight. We're only in making out territory at this point.

Also, fwiw his skin is fabulous.

Hear that, young (relatively speaking) men of the FB? Moisturize, Adder and young Mr. Coltrane. It's too late for the rest of us, but perhaps not for you.

And I'm glad to see my Imaginary Little Sister having some joy in her life. She certainly isn't getting much joy from the Giants so far this season.

We disagree about the movie as a whole, but agree that John Mahoney (a very underrated actor, btw) was amazing. And his response (paraphrased) below to Francis reminds me of roughly 80% of my uncles and older cousins in the Ancestral Homeland:

"Dad, what are you so worked up about divorce? You don't even believe in God." "Hey, that doesn't mean I'm not a good Catholic."

(He's been to a lot of shows.)

Also, my husband's youth and influences pretty much mirror Dave Grohl's up to about 1990. Dave Grohl joined Nirvana, my husband joined the Marines.
The '80s DC punk scene created Bad Brains. If it did nothing else - nothing at all - this would be enough.

This comment stuck in my head. I tried to recall ever hearing a guy offer that same comment about a woman. No instance comes to mind.

And yet so many women obsess about their skin.

Do women realize how much they could let that slide without guys even noticing? (I wouldn't smoke until it folds like Keith Richards' skin, or leave volcanic acne undisturbed, but generally, it's not the thing most immediately noticed.)

Oh-- And just fuck him already.

Wrong. A woman's skin is very important.

This reminds me of watching Loveline with Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla on MTV (possibly in the late '90s?) when a female caller wanted to know if her boyfriend was telling the truth when he said that jizz is great for the skin and should be applied to the face.
