Lebowski might be No. 1 for me. It's one of my top five favorites of any genre.

To be fair, none of the movies you mentioned include Patrick Swayze or Wesley fucking Snipes in drag.

And you can make fun of Elf and Powers, but Weird Science is a tour de force and The Jerk is no slouch either.

I think ridiculous comedies don't get their due. I'll never understand why dramatic actors are thought of as so very talented and deserving of great respect and reverence when great comedians are not. But no matter how you look at it, To Wong Foo fucking blows.

"He hates these cans. Stay away from the cans!"

Almost every line is good in that movie.

I actually accepted your request, gathered all of your personal information, and then un-friended you.

If you like dark comedy, how about War of the Roses?

"Once in a lifetime comes a picture that makes you feel like falling in love again. This is not that movie."

CDF (the map scene, the Morgan crushing, the dog pate, "what the hell is wrong with you" -- lawyer interposes "if you're with a woman for any length of time, eventually you'll ask her that question")

Any movie with Danny DeVito is automatically disqualified. Sorry.

Girly Mah Mah Mah Mah

If this came from a movie, I automatically move it to number one on my list with a bullet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtJRN...eature=related

Someone else had Ruthless People on their list. And Throw Momma From the Train should get consideration just for having a good title (not such a good movie though).

To Wong Foo blows, but your list excluded Clerks, and there has its own credibility problems.

Also, were I to make a list, it would likely include Borat, which I believe has been overlooked so far.

Movie entry

I find lists to be difficult to put together, because I can never remember everything, but I don't see The Money Pit anywhere, and frankly, that movie gets funnier (and somewhat harder to watch) the older I get. I accidently saw it a few nights ago. Until then, I'd banned it's viewing from the house on the basis that I didn't want to jinx anything in my own house, but we were flipping channels, and once on we couldn't pry ourselves away. I something disasterous to happen any minute now.

"We have very weak trees."

"Turkey's done."
"So's the kitchen. Let's not go there again."

I love the scene where the bathtub falls through the ceiling and he stands over the whole and just laughs.

Has anyone mentioned Stripes, which is funny even now. That's the fact, Jack.
