God, this is so confusing. Obviously the White House is too distracted by the election to have disseminated the party line. Or, this is another example of the growing inefficiency of the party line dissemination machine.

this started with posts saying Spain's appeasement sucks, it clear we are concerned with point 2 not 1. and again, this will be the object in the future- this time it might have just wanted to blow some people up.
P.S. If you're going to become my 6th wife, you're going to have to stop questioning around others.

Fuck 6th wife, I want to be #1 wife.
I thought that among mainland European* countries, Spain was more or less on our side?
*This brings up a tangential thing -- are Britain and Ireland part of Europe now or not? If not, I withdraw my "mainland."

WTF do you have against Macedonia? Everyone else is listed in order of # of troops, but SOMEHOW Macedonia is listed behind Estonia. Are you questioning the effectiveness of six Macedonians?\
Also, were the Spanish appeasers before the bombing or only after? It seemed like they were kind of pissed off after the bombing, but if their force was 6th largest before the bombing, it seems unlikely they were appeasing at that point.
Rove said to remind all of you to keep your yaps shut until the party line has been worked through.

What happened to the Moroccan monkeys? Do they not count? Or did they never make it there?

I think there is a different way that the terrorists "succeeded", and it is the same way they "succeeded" with 9/11. If you are a radical terrorist type supported by only a handful of hopefully rich but certainly crazy people, the thing you most want is a "movement", and to have a movement, people must give you credance and pay attention to you. And by effecting the change of a government, a.Q. shows they have an impact, which will assist them in gaining more support. Just as they gained enormous visibility by virtue of 9/11, so that today they seem to be just about the only game in terrorist town.
Are you not affiliated with a.Q? Just some garden variety African neo-communist group looking to gain power? Give it up, forget it, because the people want the real McCoy, the meanest dudes in town, the big Q. And we did as much to build these guys up as did the fall of the conservatives in Spain.

It is my understanding that eating Moldovan can be quite fun. Or perhaps just accessible. Check with Less.
This irrelevant BS brought to you courtesy of the "fuck you, I've been here longer" movement on the FB.

Majority of Spanish against involvement with US, government in power going against those wishes, this inflames and increases anti-involvement feelings.
They didn't care who won - as long as the winner gets out of the US alliance. Plus, they wanted to purely punish for being part of it in the first place.
Spain just said OK. You Win. We're sorry. Please don't hurt us. We didn't really like the WTC design anyway.

OH MY GOD. The beauty of them doing this in Spain is that it can go both ways -- were they trying to inflame the government further, or were they trying to intimidate the populace into changing the hostile government?

I think we're supposed to start renaming more foods, but all I can think of is Freedom Rice.

I think Ashcroft and Rumsfeld already took that one. Maybe we can call Spain's the Olde Times Freedom Inquisition.
