A while back, I moved to another state and thought about becoming a member of that bar. I was going to waive into a jurisdiction that has a rocket docket, 5 months file to trial. They asked for every speeding ticket I have ever received, how many miles over, where I was going, why I was driving that speed, who the officer was, what court it was in, what the disposition of the ticket was.

Did your conscience object to having to register and then demonstrate conscientious objection to participating in a war for which you were later drafted? Or merely that providing this information to the government was more objectionable than providing that information to obtain a driver's license, a passport, a marriage license, and approval to be hired by the government?
