If you have your own reserved luggage space (like your own reserved seat) you wouldn't give two shits if you were the last guy on the plane.

If I am doing a there and back in a day, I don't care if I am the last guy on the plane.
Anyone who flies enough to know any of this is already group 1. Or are you talking about JetBlue? I can't give you any feedback about that, because I would never get near that shit.

Yes, I am generally Group 1 (except for Southwest) but was primarily writing about what everyone else has to go through.

Executive summary:

They make a lot of money from charging you extra for basic shit like leg room, room to put your bag, food, a reasonable line.
Because there aren't nearly enough things pointing to the gulf between them what gots and them what don't.

you do realize this is simply about people who are too important (and valuable) to wait for their luggage at baggage check? if you are who "don't gots" can't you wait?

The airlines make you pay to check your bags now.

These last two days prove that anyone with a thimble full of business acumen doesn't become a lawyer.

Took the idea 2 days to come to me. What is the one way the airlines WOULD let you have your own space?

If. You. Pay. For. It.

The best I know are in Boston, NY, California, or DC. What would work best for you?

*what bothers me about NY lawyers is not that they are generally rude and combative (we have plenty of those in Chicago), it's that they WHINE SO GODDAMN MUCH. They act like toddlers. "Gritty" NYCers my ass. We grow men here in the middle west. Not little babies.

My favorite discovery dispute took place my first year as a lawyer. I was fighting a subrogation claim where the insurer had no case whatsoever. My client took a partial settlement for property damage and his own insurer was suing him for subrogation on an injury claim. I forced them to file an admission in front of the judge on a motion to compel. The lawyer on the other side told me he was going to kick the shit out of me once we got outside when we left the courtroom. I guess he didn't notice the judge was standing h=behind us on the elevator. He noticed when the judge waved over a sheriff's deputy and told him to take the asshole into custody for contempt the second the elevator doors opened.

Hehehe.

What kind of jurisdiction has judges who cannot distinguish between a criminal threat and contempt of court? Your story makes me sad more than anything.
