Do you have evidence or can you just imagine reasons why?
He saw it on CBS.

Great move, Ty. Slave talks about how the Germans always lose and the French always surrender, and you reference an ITALIAN?

So was the SS I remember from my youth. Sigh. Of course, this was back before all these political differences came between us.

Almost any good sentence does. See:

George Bush is Mr. Mandate.

Shape Shifter needs some Viagra.

Guernica posts are too funny.

Taxwonk is to blame for Paigow going.

Cool guys don't post on weekends.

Condi for VP?

OK, he has to go. You can't have someone with these health problems as VP.

eta - besides, he has been able to funnel hundreds of millions to Halliburton and with his health, he needs to get started on spending it. You can't take it with you.

It's an intriguing question if he dies before the electoral college meets. They're nominally pledged to Cheney, but if he's dead, presumably they're all free to pick a different VP. Unless the Rs get it together, it could be Edwards for VP.

Well that is interesting, but I don't think that there is a snow ball's chance in hell that edwards will be VP.

So how do you feel about taking one of your kids along when you cheat on the other parent? Good? Bad? Will they buy that you are just friends?
Or how about when parents eat buckets of pills in front of their kids? I have several realtives who openly eat all sorts of mind-warping garbage served to them by their doctors, blessed by our criminal govt/phramaceutical borg. You can be an utterly useless idiot, stoned to the bejesus on prozac, adavan, valium, whetever... while I can't recreationally smoke a joint? "Illegal" in regard to drugs has nothing to do with actual harm and everything to do with keeping the pharmaceutical pushers fat and rich. Depression and anxiety are not new maladies - what did people do before we had the wonderful dealers at Glaxo pushing theie shit on us? We didn't all commit suicide?

I'm fairly certain I have clinical depression to a degree. I think we all do at times, particularly in this shit profession. I think its miles more healthy for me to occsionally light one up than it would be for me to become "medicated" like these zombies I see around me. One relative chomps adavan like a goddamned Pacman. Yet she's the first to tell me I drink too much. We live in a fucking pill society. Instead of worrying about lighting up in front of kids, we ought to worry about the damage done by letting our kids see us become a country of soft-headed pill inhalers.

I'd rather my kids smoke pot all day than take any fucking ritalin or any of the other shit they forcefeed kids these days.

Do you believe Oliver Stone's theory of how JFK was killed?

Look. If everyone is on pills, you better take pills. Otherwise you won't fit in, or get the drift of conversations. The other day, I was talking to this mom who was bragging about not letting her kids watch TV. I told her all kids watch 5 hours a day, so her kid's peers will have completely different thought processes, much shorter attention spans, and a knowledge of a huge amount of trivia- all of which will make her kids not be able to interact in society.
she said "My kids have a much more creative outlook and can really focus." I told her creativity and focus will land Junior in the ritalin line at the office after lunch.

see in theory, no TV would be good, but it practice it would be bad. You want my advice? You should get on a nice tranquilizer script.
