Not Icky. Icky is the worker bee - the reason they drive those cars.

In any event I was only there for 3 hours so it wouldn't make sense to lay out that cash.

I have done the VIP treatment at a different park where basically you ride every ride you want when you want wherever you want. A guide for two days walks you to the first car, last car, whichever is best. This was a roller coaster-intensive park so my middle ear was shot after a 1/2 day.

I can get that treatment with a note from my doctor.

Along with a list of the rides that I can't go on. So much for VIP treatment.

In New York, the old saw was that appearing on Law & Order was a good way to keep working for an actor. Even if it's a minor recurring role or Random Criminal #3 or Devastated Family Member of Victim or whatever, you could appear on that show periodically and make enough money to survive (together with waiting tables, etc.)

In LA, the counterpart appears to be the Disney complex. I've met loads of working actors who now, or used to, put in their time doing various stuff at Disneyland, and for some reason multiple guys who did the Jungle Cruise.
