I didn't say that. Both you and Gatti are putting words in my mouth. I said the guys I worked with were losers. Cheated on their wives, treated them badly (one guy had an affair with his wife's sister) and were *shocked* when their wives walked out.

And still, when we had the "my divorce is finally final" night out on the town for these guys, I was surprised at how many women fell for the line, "hey my divorce is final today. I need someone to sit on my lap." It worked every freakin time - scary.

um, those details were not in your original post. I believe the original post was along the lines of "where I used to work, we had a divorce celebration every few weeks. Not surprising considering the losers I worked with!!!" I could look it up, but I'm lazy.

Hmm. Interesting question. I'm sure that NFH has various bases for conferring loser status. Maybe your car isn't quite the right brand. Or perhaps because you don't own your own home or media center. I'm guessing you have an in.

Although, based on your extensive internet writings, I do not consider you to be bitter, I do not believe that being bitter and celebrating your divorce are mutually exclusive. I base this on the anecdotal evidence of my friend who was very bitter about her divorce and who celebrated the event annually, in part (I believe) because she was bitter about it. I realize that this is just one data point, but it is nonetheless somewhat compelling evidence for me.

These days I am enjoying the Brian Jonestown Massacre, inspired in part by seeing the movie Dig!, which was fun. They were a fun band back in the day, but I am not sure I am interested in seeing them know that the lead dude is reportedly all cleaned up.
