No, it doesn't. I stayed there a number of years ago (a double-digit number), but it was fantastic. It's not the Four Seasons, more like a Spartan version (or Crusades version, if you prefer), kind of austere, but it's beautiful.
I've been to Granada many times, and that was my favorite time (when I stayed at the Parador in the Alhambra.) Not that I'm some kind of world traveler or anything, but the Alhambra is the most spectacular place EVAH.

Suppose you had a few hours on a weekday afternoon in the Ninth Arrondisement. What would you do?

Cool.
What time of year did you go? I was there in August, and it was predictably hot, but I have no idea whether there might be alternate times in the spring or fall when it's cooler but still nice enough to sit outside in the evening with a drink and overlook my vast Moorish kingdom from the gardens.

I'm going to Granada to pay my respects at the tomb of Los Reyes Catolicos and drink lots of alcohol in the Alhambra. To put it in terms you might understand, it'll be like my own personal 9/11 Terror Victory Mega Mosque, but in reverse.

Well, to answer literally, I'd probably just walk around a bit, and try to figure out where my friend used to live (think it was Rue d'Aboukir). Generally in Paris I'd head toward the river, but you could wander the Toulieries or shop at Les Halles or Galleries Lafayette. If I recall, Boulevard Haussmann is good for a stroll too. Obviously, it's never made to sit at a sidewalk cafe either. Last time I was there you could actually get good beer (Leffe, generally) too, which did not use to be the case.

This is a great question. I have a buddy who bought (with his credit card) a prostitute for an entire day in Copenhagen. If you did the same, the answer will be different than if you are with your kids.

On a nice day, I'd probably take the Metro to the 6th, to walk around the Latin Quarter and the Jardin Luxembourg. On a not-nice day, I'd head for a museum. The underrated Asian Art Museum shouldn't be too far, and it's never crowded. It's not worth going to the more popular/crowded ones with only a few hours.
Alternately, buy a magazine at the nearest Presse, find a nice cafe with sidewalk seating, and sip some wine while looking at Parisian women. Though the 6th is better for that.

I will be in Copenhagen in September.
While we're all doing travel planning, what would any you do with a couple of spare days in Lisbon (accompanied by your spouse)?
