Or smack the refills out of my hand.
For you Red Sox fans, you should be ashamed. George Steinbrenner ($355) is outbidding Johnny Damon ($300).
And Boomer Esiason ($200) is outbidding Amani Toomer ($110). What the hell?
Gwinky - there are hockey staplers, but I don't know how you feel about Mario Lemieux($180).
And for the swim fans, Michael Phelps ($300).

pose a better question. What's the problem--shit drifts to the back where you can't get it? Easy--buy some boards, nail on a couple of support stand/boards, stain to match, and the cabinets are no longer too deep. Or buy/build risers, so you can see the big sacks of red beans and rice in back of the snackwells.
Too much storage? Buy one of them fruiter baskets and fill it up with straw 'n shit.
|
Is this first suggestion just basically to wall off the back of the cabinet? I wasn't sure.
Do I really seem like someone who would build stuff?
My last resort was to get the pre-made pull-out wire baskets at a Container Store-type place (they have a decent selection at Bed Bath & Beyond, btw), but I don't think that they are nearly as deep as the cupboards are.
Hmmm . . . but maybe I could mount* one in front of another, and attach the baskets to each other so that they would both pull out.
*mmmm, mounting.

Why all the hate, balt?

How wide are these cabinets and how many of them are there? Couldn't you just use it as a broom/mop/ironing board storage area?
Or, there's always Coltrane's standby - cinderblocks and 2x4s.

Coltrane's vows notwithstanding, it looks like this is the section you need to look at.

There are non-removable shelves. If you think of shelves as a spreadsheet, there is one standard-width (not wide, not narrow) column with about 5 rows. The top row is pretty high.
SS, from this female's perspective, you having a sharp point on your penis is not a plus.

I was thinking more like this: http://www.thecontainerstore.com/bro...6&PRODID=71203
They are like 3 feet deep (I may be exaggerating a bit). Risers are not going to do the trick.
I heart the container store, but it is not near me at all. A similar place is.
OK, I am hereby accepting that no one here has any ideas I have not yet thought of.
Consider the question (sigh) rescinded. Retracted. Whatever.

I was really hungover when I was there, so that may have played a part in my anger toward it. That also may have played a part in me pissing off the entire store, but nevertheless...

Now that I can't stop myself
This is like crack and I don't know why...
Jennifer Love Hewitt ($400) outbids Heather Graham ($375) and Jennifer Garner ($205) and Mary Kate and Ashley Olson ($305 Coltrane there's still time!).
And this is wrong, Meryl Streep ($550) outbids Orlando Bloom ($356) who is tied with Bob Newhart ($356).
Paris Hilton takes the cake at $1005.

What about installing those pull-out rolling shelves? This place claims it is an easy DIY project, and the prices do not seem to be bank-breaking. Perhaps you can have the taut-abbed guy install them after he finishes painting. http://rollingshelves.com/

OK, everyone, observe this. This was helpful.
Though, I'm not sure how one would cut wood and melamine. It seems like it might involve a saw or something.
ETA I am the one painting, and my abs are anything but taut. If they were tauter, probably my back would hurt less at the end of the painting sessions.
So stop with the taunting me about hot guys doing manual labor for me.
