you are starting to remind me of my recent Louis C.K. ["Lucky Louie"] stand up show. He has like two schticks, one mostly of how his wife doesn't want sex so much and what he does to release pressure. over and over. Funny, but....yeah, like the hands jokes the tenth time.

wonder woman
That is my favorite scene from the OC. I love the line "What am I, 8?" -- delivered brilliantly by Samaire Armstrong, before she turned into a bad transvestite on Entourage era.
This is an inspired choice.

My sister loved them. It's just one of many reasons I had to throw her in the closet and lock the door whenever my parents went out.
Which they did every S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y night.

There was a Sid and Marty Kroft amusement park in the Omni Hotel in downtown Atlanta in the mid-70's. My family was coincidentally there the week it opened, and my brother, my mother and I got stuck on a ride that was a giant pinball machine that you ricocheted around in a pinball-shaped car.
I seem to recall that we were on the local news after that incident.
I also recall a restaurant called something like "Pitty-Pat's Porch" where the waitress kindly brought me Shirley Temple after Shirley Temple, probably starting my love afair with cocktails.
Off to pack. La de dah.

That's a problem easily solved with one trip to Michael's (or whatever craft store they have in Houston).
ETA: Once again proving I'm tmdiva's sock puppet.

Damn straight. Even though I still called the stores here Daytons.

Regionalist Fuck?
So one of my clients is maybe being bought. Last night I got an email from the lawyer for purchaser saying "the deal is headed south fast."
Thing is, he is in Atlanta. I don't know if the phrase grew from some implication that the South is bad or broken, but whatever the origin I would think a Georgian lawyer would not use it, simply because it would seem to imply the negative.
Maybe he thinks it means Mexican?
