I was going to agree with bnb that she could add me to the list that includes herself, gwnc, and ltl/fb, that men are either immediate yeses or nos, but then I had a flashback to a prior relationship, scrutinized the concept, and changed my mind.

But then I changed my mind again, and for now, I would like to say, that I think the answer is also true for me. But I could be wrong.

But not as bad as "Officer, Stacy is a 9-year-old girl who hangs around my house every day, and I am not going to answer any more of your questions."

What if it is kept tiddy?

Put me down on that list too (the one with bnb, gwink, fringe and RP). There are some yesses that change to no, but there has never been a no that turned to a yes.

Hmmm. Perhaps we five are the only women in the world like us. That is a small minority.

It looks more like a poncho than a shirt. Maybe he thinks he's at Disneyland?

Woman generally are terrible to go to advice about how to deal with woman. Generally they like to think they treat relationships a certain way but in general they don't.

The knee jerk reaction of a woman, that has been borne out by the board, is they immediately say - well I don't act that way, or I don't think like that. But when you ask a woman how their friends act and think you get more useful information. Woman generally are to "close" to themselves to give you an unbiased view of how they think.

I think the women he talks to are trying to make him happy by making him think he has a chance.

And, he's almost 40 and though he tells us about his life extensively, he's never mentioned a relationship? How much could he know?*

*This applies to me, too, even though I am younger.

Is Stacey the woman Spanky's getting all of his information about women from? I think I see the disconnect here.

Incomplete games.

ETA: Did a double header about three weeks ago over my refusal to pay any bills by mail (I use auto bill pay for everything and refuse to pay anything sent to me on paper except the mortgage). That was nuts. Screaming, kicking the walls, threatening divorce drunken howling nuts. Good times. You need those every now and again... to get the lead out.
