Even worse. I had to work today. Fucking Washington state allows motions to be filed on 5 business days notice. Thus, when Plaintiff drops one on you at 4:30 on Thursday, my opposition is due 4:30 the next Tuesday, for a hearing on the next Thursday.

That said, it is arguably better than watching the Miami Heat. (Disclosure - I have money on the Mavericks.)

you've bet money that the Dallas Mavericks will win the NBA finals? did Harold Camping's advice play into that decision?

In a sense. I have 5 contacts @ $20 each to win $100 per contract that they win the Finals, but those contracts are liquid. I bought them when the Mavs went up 2-0 on the Lakers. I could sell them today for $28, but will probably wait until after they beat the Thunder. If the Heat win the East, they will likely only get $35 to $40 each, but if the Bulls win (hence my bias against the Heat), they might have been close to $50.

Day 3, After the Apocolypse.

Still no sign of anyone but Less, Hank, and Adder. They're talking basketball. I'm starting to hope their food runs out soon and they have to resort to cannibalism.

Fugee reports on the other board that she's a ghoul. I would have thought angel, but, either way, it seems she's raptured. I'm sensing some very big scores for the death board this year!

I don't know who is themselves and who is a zombie. I jump every time someone (something?) walks by my door.

I ran out and looted a liquor store, and have restored my scotch supply. There was a zombie at the cash register - I have no doubt that one was a zombie, with the blank stare, the sunken cheeks, the waxen complexion. My skin crawled. Still, this scotch won't last forever, especially if I keep taking a swig everytime I worry about zombies.

The board remains hell. Am I condemned to chat with Adder and Hank's socks for eternity? Can Less and I set up a separate board with Zombie Fugee? Or is that just asking for a M-Z-M?
