Yeah. All the competition between the many banks we have has surely driven down the amount they charge for atm, overdraft, checking, and other fees. Yes, they would surely completely fleece us if there were fewer banks, but the fact that they soak us the way they do with competition leads me to believe that competition wouldn't affect these types of fees very much.

I've seen a bunch of pieces about African "banking" in areas that banks don't even try to service. It's pretty cool.

Our country is filled with morons who either don't vote or consistently vote against their own interests. And then they're all pissed about it and think the answer is someone like Trump who cares even less about them than the lunatic who is in second in the primaries who is all-but- literally married to Wall Street.
People are fucking stupid.

I think I can help with this one. It is personal because you called him "fucking nuts." I guess technically, you asked him if he was "fucking nuts," but I think the clear implication was there that you believed that he could only harbor his belief system about whatever you were arguing about if he was mentally unstable. In that way, you moved from critiquing the theories he was espousing to critiquing him and, specifically, his sanity. That is why he considered it to be personal. You're welcome!!!!!!!

So I've not tried to test the methodology here
But as this comports with my priors I thought I'd share it:

I know you meant to be helpful, but I take the tone of your post to be a personal attack on Sebby's ability to evaluate the impact of his statements.

I think he'd make a great, sober, sensible President. For these reasons, in this nomination cycle, he's DOA. His only path to the general is stealing it at the convention, which would render him DOA in the general.

Kasich is the old fashion Buckley republican: he believes that that good diction and a level voice can effectively hide a neo-fascist position on any issue.
To ready his actual website and statements, he supports repealing ACA, would amend the constitution to undo marriage equality, would ban binding arbitration and strikes for public employees, wants to defund planned parenthood, and tried to do it at a state level....
You're fucking nuts.

Banks compete against each other right now to offer a bundle of services relating to the fact that they're holding your money, and so they hide the real cost in fees that are hard to decipher. Fintech may change this by unbundling these services, allowing competition on a more individual basis.

Your scenario is unpossible.
