You (probably) look good in boxers if currently (or about to be) engaged in physical activity. Which I would imagine you would be shortly after stripping down to just boxers. Physical of some nature, at least.

Anyone who can fuck himself up in front of his boss to avoid getting fired is one crazy fuck. I love it.

Yes, but I am speaking re depositions. I'd rather have the one who can fuck me up (in front of his boss or otherwise). Not that I don't think Norton could do this, but Brad is my man.

Interesting point. I'm concerned that I for some reason I have some tension with Thurgreed over Jessica Simpsons boobs that somehow turns into some frustration on my part.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

The A6s make 270hp260tq for around the same price, although they are carrying around an extra 400 lbs of AWD weight. The lower end 5 series are great cars, but underpowered by modern sports sedan standards. The 525i ias the exact same engine (ok, heads are updated, bottom end is the same) as my old 1988 528e, making only about 20% more power than that car did. A lot of that is made up for in the low weights for both those lines, but I don't know that I could chose either one over comparable offerings from Audi, Infiniti and the new 2005 MY high end offerings from Subaru.
I just bought a Z4. I like the fact that it looks great, but it's not at all the reason I bought the car. I've wanted a convertible for years, and I can finally afford a powerful, well-built new one, so it's a bit of a luxurious approach to something I need (a car).
What you're saying is what you prefer. Can't you appreciate that others prefer different things? I think it's great that BMW makes the cars that they do. They haven't really compromised too much about making their cars drivers' cars, providing manual transmissions and innovating. And they cars are plenty luxurious for me. Different people like different things, and for some a 3 series is exaclty what they need.

I am merely playing the critic... making my case for what I like and don't like.
You'd have to be insane to purchase an Audi over a BMW. Audi's resale is like Cadillac's.

Good fucking lord it is not. The new 5er is horrendous. And the interior looks incredibly cheap and plasticy--even the "wood" trim looks plastic, and that's only if you upgrade from the plastic "aluminum" trim. Yikes.

I would NEVER buy a new car. I should have noted that. I'd buy the old 5 Series. The new 5 and 7 lines should be aborted.

There are a number of ways I could respond to this, but I have decided on:
Probably? Don't hate just because you're never going to find out.

Speaking of A-holes and their Beemers, I saw a current model year 3 series BMW broken down in teh middle of rush hour traffic (with the obnoxious personalized tag of IAM 007) which gave me great pleasure.

Why buy for resale value? If you like to have a new car every few years, just lease. Buying for resale just means sticking yourself with what other people want, not what you want. It's why every house looks like a stupid mcmansion, with the half brick, half aluminum siding, the palladian windows, and all the stupid gables--because that's what other people want.

What do you think this means?

There is some middle ground for people who like their vehicles but hate spending on depreciating assets.

Leasing a 45k Audi will cost you 10% more than leasing a 45k bimmer just for that reason: depreciation.

I am with you on that though. Blue water E39 is close to perfection. But just put this in the front seat and it is perfection.

I think on TMBDII, he should post a picture of him in boxers and we can all decide.
Though, I tend to think that he just lounges around the house in them. Which makes it all the more shocking the guests made him sit on the floor -- sitting on the floor often results in splayed legs/legs in awkward positions, and splayed legs can result in the mouse getting out of the house.
