It was a tough call today. They've added Chuckles to the machine. I haven't had Chuckles in years.
But no Almond Joys. Ended up going with a plain old Hersheys with Almonds.

But couldn't they throw in an extra almond in the middle? I'm okay with less chocolate.

My Bible defines almond joy as two similar pieces of candy, covered in chocolate. some almond, sticking into the end of the two, where it don't belong? my bible doesn't mention that.

In my case, I went to a Greek island with crappy wifi. Highly recommended!

A book I liked a lot was Jill Lepore's Book of Ages, about Benjamin Franklin's sister. There's this long period of American history from about 1630 to 1770 that pretty much gets ignored, for better or worse. Lepore writes for the New Yorker, so take that as a recommendation if that seems like a good thing.

You don't realize how great it is to be disconnected from your phone until you're forced to do so. When I was in Mexico I would just leave it in the room because the wifi by the pool/beach sucked and then check it before dinner in the room while watching the free porno on Channel 51.

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
May God forgive me, but I've been reading Obergefell on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Am I reading this right, and is Scalia essentially arguing that not even a rational basis standard should apply, and judges should just defer the shit to the legislature?
