This is the Fashion Board. The raison d'etre of this board is to discuss fashion, clothing, office wear, etc. The fact that some of us actually stay on topic does not mean it would be superfluous for you to do so as well.

I think we can call the trend of putting periods (or full stops, if you will) between words for emphasis officially dead. Although it is fun and whimsical in small doses, it is out of date now like the cosmo. It could return with a bang like the mojito, but for now, let's let it rest for a while.

I'm up for partner this winter and i have a problem. My firm is going to casual fridays. Normally, I wear dress shirts and suits- you know high fiber count cotton button downs from only the finest makers- and the collars when buttoned serve to hide my goiter.

I don't want the partners to know I have a goiter because they might conclude that an associate who can't make sure he gets enough iodine in his diet can hardly be trusted to make sure all the proper papers are filed for the several high level litigation projects entrusted to me.

Anyways, I'm thinking with casual it's all open collars-

and. I. Am. screwed.
