It is difficult to maintain a straight face when introduced to someone for the first time and hearing, "My sister is a first year at Regent Law School in Virginia."
My reply: "Oh, the first year is very hard. I hope she's hanging in there."

The Mission of the Law Review is to bring glory to God and to make the character and person of Jesus Christ known through the publication of excellent and principled legal scholarship.

Although the Law Review encourages students to consider incorporating biblical principles into their submissions, a paper will not be penalized merely because it does not explicitly include biblical integration.

eta: Heh. I saw elsewhere on their web site that they are "among the 159 best law schools."

I will confess that Monica Goodling immediately came to mind when the school was mentioned. I do not have charitable Christian thoughts towards Monica Goodling.

Really? She's a non-entity to me. Who is she?
OTOH, I am open to having charitable thoughts (or directing charitable donations) towards Monica Lewinsky......

Re: Congratulations Slave and Catrin!!!
This summer, I want to go to a Greek island. I want to rent a house or an apartment within a decent walk of a beach. I want to hang out on the beach with young kids, and I want enough of a town that I can choose from a few decent places to eat out or get groceries easily to cook for myself. I don't want to be somewhere big and crowded, or too remote. Sites of cultural interest that aren't too far away would be good. Lots of drunken Englishmen would be bad. Anyone have any ideas how to find the right place?

Piso Livadi, on Paros?
It wasn't peak season when I was there, and we weren't there all that long, but it was peaceful at the time. A smallish town, with the more lively Naoussa to the north of the island.
ETA: I missed the not too remote. This might fall into that category.
