If anyone wants any candy from the Willy Wonka variety pack, stop by my office any time in the next five weeks.

I have tons of candy left over, also, and I stayed in. I guess the flood warnings were a little too scary for some trick-or-treaters.
Speaking of scary, I was watching the 49ers play the Bears last night. Toward the end of the half, the doorbell rang. I grabbed the bowl of candy and flung open the door. At first I thought it was a kid dressed up as an adult. When she didn't yell "trick or treat!", I realized that the woman was an actual adult.
She kind of looked inside the house and said she must be at the wrong address. She was picking up her daughter from a party a couple of houses down. I asked her if she wanted some candy, and she selected a white chocolate Reeses. She was kind of cute. Should I have asked her in for cheesecake?

If by "cheesecake" you mean "FMF with me and the gf" the answer is yes.

I saw a group of maybe four guys and four girls dressed as "Girls Gone Wild." The guys had fake video equipment and looked like those GGW guys and the girls were wearing skimpy bottoms and white tank tops with black cardboard bars across their chests that said "CENSORED." It was pretty good.

But did you out-Wild the Girls? Inquiring minds and VCR owners want to know.

Wow. You must have been bored.
I remember how bad of a college QB Krenzel was.
Chicago: worst current sports city.
Sorry Cleveland. You have LeBron.

How do I start over from scratch? I have preserved everything that came with the computer when I got it a year ago.
It is not currently in the budget to dump this one and get a mac, unfortunately, or I would do that.

I recently tried to do just what you are suggesting and ended up taking the computer to a pro. So I may not be the best person to give advice.
But what you want to do is re-format yor harddrive and re-install the operating system. How to do this is going to vary with the OS you have on your computer and whether or not you have an install disk included.
Since you say your computer's abouta year old, I'm guessing you have Windows XP, and it came with an install CD-Rom. Just put the CD in the drive and follow the directions. But a couple of cautions:
Do the reinstall without being connected to the Internet. Turn on the firewall settings before connecting to the Internet. Install an antivirus program before connecting to the Internet. Immediately upon connecting to the Internet (preferably through a router), go to Windows Update and update the operating system. Then update the antivirus. Then load/reload anything else.
You may also want to consider investing in Cleaning Windows XP for Dummies and/or Degunking Windows. I haven't read either, but both have good reviews and are pretty recent.

Why? Are they playing anybody interesting?
In addition to the Giants, I will be cheering for whichever team is playing the Eagles. It's a Turnpike thing.

Don't you hate it when they leave and the dishes pile up? This ALWAYS happens RIGHT after they leave. It's almost like girlfriends plan it or something.

Yes, they will be playing the Hated Rams with their Hated Quarterback Bulger. It will be a high scoring passers duel. Worth watching and rooting for the Pats.

There were no really good costumes at the party I attended, though the party itself was really good. I got there around midnight and left around 5:00 am.
Kenny from South Park kept on running into one of the two Deaths. There was a rather funny Special Olympics athlete. Lots of playboy bunny types and dancing girls. Lots of vampires (I was one, with a stake having missed my heart). One fo the women from Coffee Talk. Che Guevera. Lots of soldiers. Lots of devils. Lots and lots and lots of alcohol.

You should do breakfast at McDonald's and lunch and dinner at the strip club, dumbass. That's what the buffets at the strip clubs are FOR, for chrissakes.
