A similar thing happened when Chinese gooseberries were rebranded.

First flight was canceled, and the put me on another flight but told me it was at a gate that didn't exist.

The second "bumped" me because it was overbooked right after I bought a ticket on another airline. So free $ but let's see if I get it.

Is this the kind of thing that can be cured by sustained vibrator use?

Or maybe a stern lecture from Jack Manfred?

I think I'll keep working with the vibrator.

				scanning

 Another tech question (hi Flinty!):
I want to scan some old family photographs. These are important enough that I want to do it right. Assuming that the number of pictures is in the three digits, I'm thinking that it'll be cheaper to buy a scanner, rather than paying a photo shop to do it. If so, what should I buy to do the job right?

 | Do you want the scanner to do other things like print or fax? Or you are looking for a flatbed scanner that only scans? In any event, I think it would be cheaper to buy the scanner and lay em all out and you'd have more control over how things get scanned. That's a lot of pics but on a flatbed you lay em all out to scan as one big pic and then use software to carve out each one individually.
