Seems ok to me.
Sunnis and Shia can weigh in on what my morning drive guy can say during my commute?

When Giuliani went after the Brooklyn Museum of Art, you didn't need an extremist organization (like a museum lobbying group, or whoever that was) to tell you about it. That was just the first link I saw; I figured a cultured fellow like you would remember it well. Giuliani made sure it hit the headlines.

I have no idea, but if I had to guess I would surmise that the issue was wrapped into legislation on a bunch of other issues, and that a vote on the specific issue might come out somewhat differently, though perhaps not dispositively so.

I didn't think you knew anything about it either.
Says here that the bill passed the Senate by unanimous consent, which is a little different than a 100-0 roll call. If it's clear that the votes are there to pass it, then leadership can let Senators avoid having to cast a politically unpopular vote against something that's going to happen. Kennedy doesn't need this protection, but others might appreciate it. It doesn't mean they support it, as you seem to believe.

All of us would prefer that both parties stop doing this shit, but recognize that the GOP is worse on this stuff because of its base of conservatives. You don't really disagree, but you are amused by trying to argue that the Dems are as bad as the GOP.

Saw #1 once, and regretted it. Didn't see #2 or #3 at all, and have never regretted it.

As notedabove, ask his position on the FCC, Howard Stern, fines for unanticpated swear words, Janet Jackson, Giuliani's position on elephant shit art, so-called "hate speech" aggravators, that group that pickets military funerals, the Code Pink Berkeley brouhaha, and/or, among other things, which foreign goverments he would provide aid to.
