I've had to look at a lot of ASP arrangements over the last few years, and they can be great for saving space in the server rooms, not having to worry about hardware, having an extra person or two on staff to maintain the application AND the data, etc. The question is always "how secure is this?" So far, we haven't had any major problems with the applications that are offsite in terms of data security and integrity.
