Re: Congratulations Slave and Catrin!!!
Aside from the Slave/Catrin wedding (yay! congrats!) what else is new around here?
By the way, ABBAKid has not been named Chlamydia Underpants Kiss (ChUK for short). She does, however, already enjoy kayaking and hates rude fats and people with poor grammar.

My hair has grown quite a bit. It should be to my shoulders in about another 3 months. Go hair! That's about it for news from me.

Re: Use your Lawtalkers' Amazon Link.
Saw an interview in the free paper (Metro, I think) the other day on this book. It even had an interview with the author, who seemed very comfortable and witty in such a setting. He was ready with some pretty clever answers to some pretty mundane questions. It's almost like he practiced this fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants approach somewhere.

I stand by my earlier position. I have read this Philadelphia Lawyer chap's interweb log site and it is singularly the most potent concentration of blowhardian mindless self indulgence to be found on or off the internets. I can only expect that the book will be more of the same. No. Thank. You. That said, I did see an interview with the author, complete with face and voice obscuration technology, and he seems like he would be a delightful fellow with whom to grab a drink or 50.

you shouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. lots of times a clever ad man will put pictures of naked ladies into an image like the ice cubes on the cover. they claim it has a subliminal effect driving sales. If I'm right it's a safe way to sneak some porn inside the house.
PS. links to interviews?

I was thinking about giving the book a pass since my library doesn't seem to think it's entertaining or educational enough to stock, but after this kind of review, I think I will skip a few mochas and shell out for it. It's a paperback, right?

Oh, I purchased the book. I think this Philadelphia Lawyer chap is worthy of my financial support. I just refuse to read it. Mindless blowhardian self indulgence.

Hmm. I never got the sense from any of his writings that he was pro-theft on principle. Are you suggesting he is some sort of communist?

Yes, I noticed that in my copy (which is not quite paperback, not quite hardback) too. So far, I have read three essays. I use one a night as a sleep-aid.
