Bastard!
Just the name Silver Oak conjures bad feelings for me. At my first wedding they served Silver Oak. An early 90s vintage. I assume it was all you could drink, but, I didn't drink wine then. Or any booze. I was in training. Ugh.

Who'd a known? But it's $40, public, and includes food. I've been back here 13 years and never heard of it, but you meet a new friend, get exposed to his friends, and one learns of entirely new aspects of SF and its environs.

Congratulations, Hank, your city's commercial was one of the best.

It was a good commercial. Not as cute as the Passat but impressive.
I'm going to have to check online because I must have missed most of the good ads. Either that or there were more ordinary ones than usual.

I think I saw pretty much all of them and they were decidedly mediocre. Lame gags or same gags and mostly unimaginative.

Why wasn't anyone questioning Rod Woodson's heart or toughness since he seemed unwilling to come back into the most important game of his life?

I think the 7-year layoff has diminished his skills.

Pepsi Max's recurring theme appears to be "It hurts when our product hits you after being fired or thrown at your body." My inner Don Draper was unimpressed. Also, when did "max" become a synonym for "none"?

I don't understand. I was making a Jay Cutler reference.
