The punchline is "Fuck him and feed him breakfast; give him a buck."

How many guys? How many hours/how much stuff? Are they packing/unpacking/both? Trying to charge you for extra boxes, hand truck "rental", furniture blanket "rental"? Breaking anything? More than one flight of stairs? I'd have about $50/guy in my pocket (assuming it's a one day job) and adjust downward based on how much they piss you off.

2--for a full-day job. If it's less time, reduce accordingly as well. Have some sodas and/or water, too.

sophie and, what Ernie?, joke.
the mailman drops the mail off Christmas eve, Sophie meets him at the door in a negligee, pulls him in the house, has wild sex with him, gives him a dollar and shows him out. on the way to the door the carrier says "what is this, why you rushing me out?"
"i asked Ernie what to do for the mailman for Christmas, and he said INSERT PUNCHLINE.

Despite your statement above, I'll tell you one easy trick. Address the e-mail to yourself and blind copy everyone else.
Good luck with everything. Seriously.

On the other hand, her post suggests she was truly partnership material, despite her career direction change.

For the saps
There's a song that breaks me down every single time I hear it. I was driving home from work on Wednesday, listening to NPR, and I heard Henry Louis Gates talking about the just amazingness of the day. And at the end, he sang a few lines of "Amazing Grace." I'd already cried several times in the previous 24 hour, but with hearing those lines, I burst into uncontrollable tears.
Anyhow, I blogged about my sappiness, and someone posted in the comments a video of Whintly Phipps explaining the song.
Of course, when I watched the video, I cried all over again.
What an amazing song.
