Indeed--easy money.
And now I wonder why Tony Snow was on tmdiva's list but not mine.

Yeah, I can't believe no one else had him. Cancer goes to the liver = goner. At least he had the courtesy to wait until 2008 to kick it (August Wilson died the same year his diagnosis was announced, of all the nerve).
Never thought after being the Angel of Death last year I would have three hits barely halfway through this one. I've been waiting on Charlton Heston and Cyd Charisse for a loooong time.

Am I the only one who had her? She's a holdover from older lists. I had no idea she was actually younger than Bea Arthur and Betty White.

one bad thing about getting famous for playing areally old character is that your fame will likely be short lived.

Not that I'm biased or anything since she's on my list but it sounds like Liz Taylor has gone downhill since this siting:

Liz Taylor 'is put on life support after heart failure'
Elizabeth Taylor was put on a life support machine after suffering congestive heart failure, it was reported this evening.
The 76-year-old's condition was said to have deteriorated after she was initially diagnosed with pneumonia last week.
Her children were at her bedside and doctors warned she might not survive, said the U.S. publication National Enquirer.
But the following day she improved and the dual Oscar winner was breathing without medical help last night.
A source said: 'The doctors thought they were going to lose her. She's still very sick, but she's past the crisis.'
The actress, a mother of three who adopted a fourth child with Richard Burton, was taken to hospital on July 15 when flu turned into pneumonia.

Flu and pneumonia in July don't bode well for her.

Yeah, but she has a history of serious lung problems and near-death experiences. I seem to recall that her tracheotomy was from a pneumonia-related episode in the 1960s.

Yeah, but she's been on my list in past years (or at least one past year) and I took her off for this year. That pretty much guarantees she'll die this year -- just like when I took Lady Bird Johnson off my list.

Okay, admittedly not a celebrity, but this Coolest Suicide Ever seems more appropriate for the maudlin denizens of this Board than the FB.

Isaac Hayes, Deep-Voiced Soul Icon, Is Dead at 65
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Filed at 4:28 p.m. ET
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless ''Theme From Shaft'' won Academy and Grammy awards, has been found dead at home. He was 65.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office says a family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill on Sunday. He was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. The cause of death was not immediately known.
In the early 1970s, Hayes laid the groundwork for disco, for what became known as urban-contemporary music and for romantic crooners like Barry White. And he was rapping before there was rap.
His career hit another high in 1997 when he became the voice of Chef, the sensible school cook and devoted ladies man on the animated TV show ''South Park.''

I bet Trey Parker and Matt Stone feel like shitheels today.
I wonder what the Scientologist theology of death is. Past lives mean future lives, right?
