Who was talking about diabetes? The pancreas is a simple organ compared to the brain.

I find your interest in embryonic stem cell research both selfish and immoral.

Cite please. Show me these studies that show you can transplant these cells in alzheimers patients (or even a lab animal) and improve the symptoms.

Generating a cell in a culture is a long way from being able to do anything useful with it. You are ignorant of the facts.

There's still a long way to go, but realistically, stem cell research is far enough along to potentially save the lives of people who have severe cardiomyopathy in my lifetime.
Cite please. And clarify, adult stem cells or embryonic cells. Either show me the data or shut up.

Just because it didn't work, doesn't mean it wasn't tried, sweetie.

As an aside, I hadn't heard of the adopted embryo thing before you mentioned it. I think that that is a great idea (even though I support embryonic stem cell research).

Impact?
That in the future, candidates shouldn't spend close to $21 per person* during a losing campaign?

2. Too bad (for the R's anyway) that the other side was prepared for their tricks this time.

Hey, if certain Democrats are too fucking stupid to know when Election Day is, then they are clearly too stupid to live, let alone vote.

They made a big deal of this today on the front page. If you're in line and the polls close, they'll stay as late as they have to for you to vote. No one is getting kicked out - unless they're late. They expected lines today. Lots of lines.

Wrong again. It is entirely dependent on what tissue you are talking about. Your statement is so wrong, I am no longer going to listen to your comments.

You are blinded by your own self interest and you care nothing of the life of an innocent.

They did this in 2000 in Missouri. Except that they kept letting people get on line after the line was supposed to be "closed"

Oh yeah, and they voted for a dead guy.

Let's just say they had an appreciation for Mr. Ashcroft that we've all come to share.

I'm not saying either of those are actually happening, I'm just saying that lines out the door don't really show anything.

Not that you ever make sense, but still.
Nah, it's because after everyone votes they go back to the end of the line, where James Carville whispers a new name for them and they wait to vote again.

And all of them live in a vacant mall.
