I wouldn't go so far as to call the brother low Klout, I mean he's got a influence problem. But what's the brother gonna do? He's Minnesotan.

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
I'm supposed to go to a birthday party in Sayulita, Mexico next Friday, which is just north of Puerto Vallarta.
I feel terrible for my friend who is throwing the party. He's put months of planning into it, and I shudder to think of the cost already sunk. I hope the town makes it through this thing ok, but I imagine even if this small surf town makes it through, the surrounding infrastructure will be hit pretty hard.
Of course, I have to get through my own local (yet related, YAY two systems meeting right over me!) weather event on Saturday/Sunday...
And I was typing, I got an e-mail saying "we're going somewhere else, but we're working on the details! Stay tuned!"

Sounds like it wasn't that bad there, no?

Nope! and we came through in Houston ok too. So everything is going as planned for the weekend. Looking forward to the Mexican Pacific coast. It's been a lot of years since I've been there.

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
I'm flying through Heathrow later this week. Is there anything that one should by at an airport duty-free store? If I could get a good deal on a bottle of nice scotch, I would, but the prices don't ever strike as very good.

I don't get the price thing either. But it does give you something to lean on until you can sort out the local liquor landscape

Except that you typically buy duty-free on your flight home.

Hmm I think I've bought the other way. Going home makes no sense unless you live in Virginia or Pa. where it might be hard to get booze for a day or so?

This. Not worth saving a couple of bucks to drag bottles all over the planet.
