Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
DC folks, I have 1 Ticket to go with me to the Moth Monday at the Howard Theater. I think doors are 7 and the shows tend to be done by 9:30- first to claim it gets it- Also restaurant recs near there for Monday and anywhere for Sunday.

Holy cow does that area look different on street view. I wasn't aware that the theater re-opened (looks like that was 2012) and there's a bunch of new stuff nearby. Which means I can't really help you. I'm pretty sure the only place to eat in the immediate vicinity that was open when I lived there was Dragon Express.
Based on the name alone, I think you need to go to Eat the Rich. Then grab a pint at the Right Proper Brewing Company.

Trump
This should probably go in Politics, although it's not really a political comment: is it possible that Trump is fucking with all of us? No intention of really wanting the presidency -- just trolling the country because he likes the attention?
Maybe when he finally gets bored with all of this he'll produce a video showing a handshake between him and Bill Clinton. He's donated to the Clintons in the past -- so maybe he's doing to this to completely throw a wrench into the GOP and help Hillary?

I suspect not even the Donald knows.
Boy, did I pick a bad weekend to plan to be in Brussels.

Colleague is a huge beer guy (grows his own hops - could legitimately open up his own brewpub with funding). He's leaving tomorrow for Brussels for a beer sampling trip. Canceling was out of the question.

You mean WWF style, so at the convention he pulls off a rubber mask to reveal . . . . he's actually Bill Clinton? <mic drop>

ETR closed on Monday, but Right Proper was very good food, except the waitress spilled the ketchup from my fries on my suit jacket. Before I was torn if I should wear the jacket to tell my story, the spill settled the question. Oh, I won the DC Moth!!!!!!
