Cleveland is in Cuyahoga county and it is the largest population center in Ohio. It is Dem territory. I think Cincinatti is the next largest and it is in Hamilton County.

Its going to be down to the wire, but Ithink it is going Kerry. He is doing better in the North Country than you'd expect, and there is more coming in from the "cities".

Cities are coming in very slowly in Ohio because of lines and court challenges.

In Wisconsin, nothing from Milwaukee yet.

Yes, precincts.

POTD. Shmuck couldn't even win his own home state.

(But...I have heard his wife speak and she's not too bad. No fatty jokes, please).

Well, right now with 45% of precincts in Ohio reporting, Bush is up 5. And that already takes into consideration Kerry's 20 point lead in Cuyahoga (where 33% of precincts have already reported). As for Hamilton County, K is only up 2 but only 9% of precincts in that county are reporting.

Kind of hard to do the math without knowing the denominator.

I don't disagree. It just leaves me at a loss for what it means.

I just looked it up and I was wrong. Columbus is in Franklin county, which is the next most populace after Cuyahoga. I always forget that part of the metro Cincinnati area is actually in Kentucky. If you ever fly into Cincinnati airport, part of the airport is in Ohio and part is in Kentucky. Funny thing is that you can smoke in the part of the airport that is in Kentucky, but not the part that is in Ohio.

I believe that Franklin County is Rep territory.
