Subserviant Chicken

Have we seen this?

www.subservientchicken.com

(Spree: a man dressed in a chicken costume who obeys your every command.)

I'm currently having him do the electric slide.

The site is safe...there is an article about it today in one of Chicago's papers...

gay marriage tax question

This is based on my personal experience from a few years ago, I'm not a tax lawyer, YMMV, yadda yadda yadda.
Where's fringey to explain all this? Or has all the tax talk whipped her into such an orgasmic frenzy that she can't post?

Anyway, there are two reasons for the marriage penalty. First is the standard deduction. Until recently (last year?), the standard deduction for a married couple was less than double the deduction for a single. Obviously that penalizes you for being married. Second is the marginal rates, which are higher for higher income, which is Sidd's point. So, until recently, if your spouse worked enough to take the full benefit of the standard deduction, you would be penalized for that reason alone for being married. That's gone now; but there's still the marginal penalty. So I don't know who BRC's friends are, but one of them must be making real shit pay to benefit from being married.

More proof that marketing requires no particular knowledge or intellect

McDonald's to offer adult "Happy Meal'. No fries, no prize.

At least they didn't hire Richard Simmons to do the ads.

If you type in "masturbate", he shakes his finger at you. Couldn't he just grab his throat?

We agreed to give Elton John an opportunity to recycle a hit. He got me theater tickets once - I owed him a favor.

Where's the happy in that meal?

Perhaps they could include a free sample of viagra as the adult "prize".

Yeah, I guess that was the problem. I'll go to the site a couple more times before I ask him to do that again.

Seriously, though, that is one creepy-looking chicken.
